SIGA

SIGA was established with a mandate to: Create employment for First Nation people; generate positive revenues for First Nations; and partner on economic development projects that benefit our shareholders and communities. We do this through the operation of seven entertainment destinations throughout Saskatchewan.

A non-profit organization, 100 per cent of our net income goes back to our communities.

All SIGA casinos are fortunate to have had First Nations and Tribal Council development partners. They become the landlords for the facility and the land on which the casino is located. SIGA enters into land and facility lease agreements that become long-term revenue generating arrangements for the First Nations and the Tribal Councils. The First Nation becomes a landlord by entering into a land lease agreement with SIGA.

Additionally, during each casino development process SIGA casinos had a Tribal Council development partner in the local market catchment area and in most cases they became the landlord for the buildings. They then entered into lease agreements with SIGA for the casino facilities.
